If you're considering a Cairn Terrier for a senior, you may want to consider a senior Cairn Terrier. These are active little dogs and they will need to have lots of activity. Not all seniors are inactive. So, just think of the amount of energy you have or the person that will own this breed will have to devote and then you should come up with a good answer as to whether it's the right breed for you or them. :)
