Cairn TerriersThe Cairn Terrier dog is a wonderful pet. These little dogs have lots of energy to expand. They live to about 14 years of age and average about 13/14 lbs. The picture I used on my site is of course of a cairn terrier. What's inside that Cairn Terrier mind? Let's go for a RIDE!! Yep, most dogs do injoy ridding in the car, and since the Cairn Terrier is a smaller breed it's pretty common to just take them with you on your trek into town. Just remember that all dogs need to be restrained properly in the car while you are driving. It's easy to just allow them a free run of the vehicle, but bad things happen, accidents effect our pets too. Seatbelts are for dogs too. They're are restraints created just for this purpose. It's better to be safe than sorry yes? We love our pets and while the little cairn terriers may enjoy a "joy-ride" in the car, it's best to keep them restrained properly. Are you having troubles with your Cairn Terrier? Or maybe another dog in the family? It may be time to turn to a professional dog trainer. More than teaching your dog to sit and shake, it's about learning how to undo some bad behavorial problems as well. We highly recommend Sit Stay Fetch a wonderful guide to training your dog.
